This book celebrates the ninety-year journey of Cooperativa Agrícola y Lechera de Santiago (CALS), a key player in Chilean agriculture since 1935. It looks back on how a group of dairy producers from the central zone joined forces to improve milk commercialization, gain bargaining power, and bring more technology and efficiency to the countryside. Over time, CALS grew from a dairy cooperative into one of the country’s main distributors of agricultural inputs, supporting producers across Chile with supplies, training, and technical advice.
As the graphic designer, I focused on creating a clear, friendly editorial layout that makes nine decades of history easy to follow. I combined typography, color, and photography to highlight the cooperative’s milestones, from its origins to the opening of its new distribution center, while keeping CALS’s identity and values at the center of the narrative. More than just a historical record, the book is meant as a tribute to the cooperative spirit and the people behind CALS, who have kept the project alive and evolving for 90 years.
